In partnership with the Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP), ATC will present and steward the International Ambassador Scholarship, an initiative designed to develop emerging talent and facilitate the creative collaboration between Australian and American theatre artists and audiences.

This year, two scholarships will be presented to talented artists ages 19 through 26, named for ATYP’s 2015 International Ambassadors:
Rose Byrne Scholarship: Awarded to a female theatre artist, with preference given to a designer or producer.
Rebel Wilson Scholarship: Awarded to an actor of any gender.
The awards will be announced at the G’day USA Gala in January 2017 in Los Angeles. Recipients will receive a cash stipend from the Australian Ambassador, a flight package from Qantas to visit Los Angeles, and a week-long professional development program with Australian Theatre Company in the United States.
